“BEST BAND IN THE WORLD EVER”
So, as some of you may know, we’re currently working on our new album. It’s been a very slow burner trying to get this one off the ground but it’s starting to heat up. We’re now at the stage where we’ve all but finished recording Steve’s drums, and we’re onto recording Nino’s guitars this coming weekend. Then Eric’s bass. It’s all sounding rather exciting and it’s not even at the mixing stage yet. And if you guys were not aware, Steve, our drummer is Steve Hewitt from Placebo. When he joined the band last year, it was almost unfathomable that someone of his calibre would join the ranks but here we are. And it’s amazing that he wants to be part of this journey. As he has said many times, “We are the new Led Zeppelin”. And he’s not wrong. We don’t sound anything like Zep, but our ethos and vibe is the same. When Zep came out they were a breath of fresh air to the burgeoning rock scene. IAMWARFACE are of the same ilk.
By the way? That headline is something my mum said, but hey, you’ve got to take approbation and encouragement where you can!
We ARE professional musicians but that doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun along the way!

For years rock music has remained the same. It’s now time for a big change. Could we be “The Best Band In The World Ever”? Time will tell but I wouldn’t bet against us.
